Elderly male, presents with a Left foot drop.

No identifiable risk factors.


On examination of his power:

Left Ankle Dorsiflexion 2/5

Left Ankle Eversion 2/5

Intact Ankle Inversion


Normal reflexes, downgoing plantars.

Sensation (on dorsum of the foot) decreased.


What is this gentleman's diagnosis?

A) L5 Radiculopathy
